MAYNOR FLORES
Co-Founder and President
Born and raised in El Progreso, Yoro, Honduras, Flores moved to Texas and began the Foundation shortly after. He is passionate about finding resources and speaking on the need to educate children in Latin America. He has received numerous recognitions from the city of Houston as well as other organizations for his work with children. He is President of the Foundation and is also an active member in various projects that support the Houston, Texas community.

LUIS REYES
Co-Founder and Vice-president
Reyes is a native of El Salvador and came to Houston, Texas as he continued his studies. He works to secure partnerships in Latin America as well as oversees the execution and roll-out of the educational programs.

GEOVANNY PONCE
Geovanny Ponce is the East Area Superintendent from the Houston Independent School District (HISD). Ponce has proven to be an innovative and knowledgeable educator for nearly two decades. His childhood experiences fueled his passion for supporting the growth of the urban child. Ponce, an immigrant from Honduras, instills collaborative leadership to ensure students from all social, economic, and ethnic backgrounds have equal access to high-quality learning opportunities.
Ponce’s broad range of experience includes mechanical engineer, classroom teacher, campus network specialist, dean of instruction, assistant principal, principal of Hartman Middle School, and most recently principal of Jones Futures Academy. Through his work, he has received recognition from Rice University’s REEP Program and the George W. Bush Presidential Center. He was recognized as HISD’s Secondary Principal of the Year and the Region IV Secondary Principal of the Year for the 2017-18 school year. Previously, he was selected as Bilingual Teacher of the Year, HISD Assistant Principal of the Year, and HISD’s Rookie Secondary Principal of the Year.

EUNICE MUÑOZ C.
A marketing executive, Muñoz has extensive experience working with and sponsoring foundations. Having worked with brands such as Coca-Cola USA, Gillette USA and MasterCard International, she brings her passion for providing education and tools to the Board.

CHARLES TORRES
With a Finance and Business background, Torres is a business owner of various businesses in the Houston area. He is a native of Colombia and is also in international ministry. He is a proponent of higher education and brings a unique perspective to the Foundation.
